Saturday Nights, what's your Accompaniment?
Come saturday nights at uni, students seem to do the opposite to everyone else. Monday to friday seem reserved for (often dodgy) student club nights while the rest of the world plod around and get early nights. Come the weekend it flips and the whole world goes out on the town while students often stay in for the night - I can't help thinking that there's a connection - they stay in, we go out, they go out we stay in - who says there's a split between town and gown! Anyway, the more important issue is that come saturday night, when students are staying in, what are they watching on TV? It goes without saying that you'll order a delivery takeaway from a local restaurant on www.eatstudent.co.uk - as i'm sure you know you can order online quickly and easily from pizza places, Chinese restaurants, Indian retaurants and others.
But the food is just the start; the perfect Kung Po Chicken or Lamb Balti is enhanced even more by the right accompaniment - a helping of X-factor, a dollop of Match of the Day monsieur? This is a subject I could harp on about for far too long for anyone (except my mum) to keep reading, so i'll be brief. Along with a takeaway from www.eatstudent.co.uk I personally tend to go for a starter of Harry Hill's TV Burp (hated it at first, but love it now) a meaty main course of X-factor, finished off with a generous helping of Match of the Day. So whether you order a curry or a pizza, a buger or a kebab, don't sit down around a table and discuss the latest budget report, get comfy on the sofa, spill half your carry on your lap, and scream at the TV all night.

Harry Hill, classic Saturday night TV!
