To register or not to register? That is the...a question

“Please register for this” “Sign up to this” “why not join our mailing list” - It’s pretty difficult to avoid these kind of pleas, and I for one have always hated giving out more information that I absolutely have to – I’ve got this image of some evil guy sitting in a big mansion cackling while he hacks into my facebook account somehow and changes my status to “I smell”. So it’s with a mixture of irony and hypocrisy that I say to you “please register with eatstudent!”

Let me explain, as an unregistered user of eatstudent you can find loads of takeaway restaurants, pizza places, Chinese and Indian restaurants – you can order online, pay online if you want, and have them deliver your food right to your door, whether you live on campus or not. So what’s the point of registering? Well, to be honest, registering for eatstudent isn’t going to change your life (unless your life is quite unfulfilling), but it really is very easy to do and it means you can save all your personal details, like address and phone number so you won’t have to enter them every time you order online from eatstudent. And don’t worry if you need to change those details - you can at any point. Also you can select favourite items in any menu to make ordering even quicker and easier. Also we really like registered users (but not in a creepy way). Happy eating!
