When a user has ordered, we will use their email address to send them an e-receipt, which will give them details of their order.
If the user chooses to pay for an order online, they will need to provide certain credit card or debit card information. This includes the billing address if it is different from the delivery address of the order. For this type of order, Eatstudent uses Paypal, a secure and widely used third party merchant (for more information go to (www.paypal.co.uk) This means that neither Eatstudent, any of it’s staff nor its affiliate restaurants can gain access to a user’s card details at any point whatsoever.
Eatstudent does not store any financial details at all from its users.
Eatstudent will only share customer details the customer. These details include the customer’s full name, their address (including university and hall) and their phone number. No financial details from the user will be provided to the restaurant whatsoever. The restaurant may telephone the contact number supplied to us by the user if there is a problem with their order, or to arrange a meeting with the user in order to complete the delivery of an order.
Eatstudent Ltd retains the right to contact the customer via the details that they have provided, if there is a problem with their order.
Users may browse the site without submitting any personal information or financial details, but they will not be able to actually place an order until they have done so.
